EALC (Estelle Appiah Legislative Counsel) is the Legislative Drafting Consultancy established by Estelle Matilda Appiah.
Estelle Appiah is an expert in legislative drafting with more than 30 years experience. She was formerly the Director of Legislative Drafting at the Attorney-General's Department of the Ministry of Justice in Ghana with the status of a Justice of the Court of Appeal.
She has drafted legislation on all kinds of topics from social policy and petroleum to financial matters. She has also taught legislative drafting to African Commonwealth lawyers and is an author of legal and historical texts.
Estelle Appiah is qualified to practice law in the UK, Ghana and Lesotho. Her legal qualifications are from the University of London, the University of Ghana and the University of the West Indies.
